In Psalm 73, Asapth laments over the time in his life when he envied those who were far from God after witnessing the way in which they prospered in the face of their rebellion.

He recalls that when he tried to understand this, it troubled him deeply until he entered the sanctuary of God—then he understood their final destiny: That “those who are far from God will perish; that He ultimately destroys all who are unfaithful to Him.”

In the light of that truth; after being given a vision of eternity he declares: “But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds.”

Don’t envy those who live care free lives apart from God, rather, tell them of all His deeds. Speak to them of His grace AND His truth; His mercy AND His wrath.

If you love your neighbor as yourself, warn them just as Jesus did—

“If you do not repent you will perish.” (Luke13:3,5)

“if you do not believe you will be condemned.”(John3:18)

“If you are not born again of the spirit you will not enter the kingdom of God.”(John3:3,5)
