Recently, I heard one of God’s messengers say:

“As we walk with God we can become so accustomed to the blessing that we can forget that we still have an enemy and that enemy has great power.”

Remember that God is grace and mercy but there is forgiveness for a reason.

God so loved you that He sent his Son to save you from your sin, for without faith in Jesus, you will surely die.

However, there are false teachers who are like the serpent in The Garden of Eden that tell you, “God did not really mean that…You will not surely die.”

Do not forget. Do not be deceived.

Repentance, faith in Jesus, and holiness are the requirements for salvation.

The proof that you have repented and believed is that you will continue to grow in that by the grace of God through the power of His Holy Spirit inside you.

Any other way of salvation is a lie.

Do not forget. Do not be deceived.

When you chose to follow Jesus, you walk the same path that He did.

Jesus says, “You will have trouble” so, do not expect that road to be easy or fair.

When Jesus went into the desert after He was given the Holy Spirit – He was tempted, attacked, enticed and provoked by the devil— and you will be too.

He was mocked, beaten, persecuted, rejected, slandered and slain by His own people— and you may be too.

Do not forget. Do not be deceived.

Do not get so caught up in his grace that you have no more room for his truth— Remember that Jesus is mercy and wrath.

Pray and seek guidance from His word to you in the scriptures or you will be easily led off the path of salvation by false teachers.

Jesus loves you and he said “If you love me, you will do what I say”— you will be obedient.

God’s Mercy and grace endure forever, but that promise is only for the true believer— so live by faith, because without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Do not forget. Do not be deceived.

“As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” ~ Matthew 24:3-14
