“Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me…” ~Matthew 4:19

There is always an urgency in the Gospel message.

It is always “today.”

“For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands…”

Jesus said, “The time has come…The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”

Yet most people reject or delay the call to follow Jesus in faith and obedience.

In Acts 24, “Felix came with his wife Drusilla…he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
As Paul talked about righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, “That’s enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.”

Those who repent and believe, do so at once. They do not wait for a more convenient time.

When Jesus said, Come, follow me,” Simon Peter and Andrew immediately left their nets to follow Jesus.

Please understand that your life is like a vapor, and if you reject Jesus Christ today, there may not be a tomorrow.

In God’s economy, every day is today.

Repent and believe the good news!

“For the gospel is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…” – Romans 1:16
