Jesus is merciful and saves us from our sin.

Once He has saved you from yours, be careful not to turn back to that sin that Jesus saved you from.

After He had healed the man at the pool in Bethesda who had been an invalid for 38 years, Jesus said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”
